          "Fusion Energy, Why Do We Need Thee?"

 

Aaah... fusion energy, why do we need thee?

 

Let us count the ways:

               

 1.  We need thee, fusion energy, to save us - basically from ourselves and our own energy policies and human activities - which perpetuate and perpetrate the continual combustion of fossil fuels for our daily energy needs;

 

2.     We need thee, fusion energy, to save us from the oncoming economic pressures which will surely result as these reserves of dwindling archaic fossil fuels have been retrieved and have left the earths interior forever;

 

3.     We need thee, fusion energy, to save us from total blackouts expected to begin around the year 2012 A.D., when the worlds last dwindling oil and gas reserves create worldwide wars and destabilization for all post-industrialist nations;

 

4.    We need thee, fusion energy,  to save us from the toxic pollutants which combusting fossil fuels releases 24/7 into our ambient air, fog, snow, rain, waterways, water sediments, and soil, which overtaxes Mother Natures ability to maintain a cleansed and steady-state of existence;

   

5.    We need thee, fusion energy, to save us from the particulate matter which cause chronic allergies, high medical costs, lost days from work, loss of GNP, and feeling miserable all the time due to our own bodies being poisoned with laboratory derived drugs which make us feel sleepy, drowsy, and generally unwell, and which impair the patients ability to concentrate, operate machinery and/or drive during their normal daily routines and job duties;

 

6.    We need thee, fusion energy, to save us from the PCBs, CFCs, dioxin and mercury, which are produced as a natural result of combusting fossil fuels in steam and powerplant stacks, which infect our air, infect our waterways, infect our deep waterway plankton, infect our mysidia and smaller fish, upon which larger fish feed, which in turn, feed larger fish, which sustain eagles, and other birds of prey, and larger animals such as bears, and finally we, human beings, as well;

 

7.     We need thee, fusion energy, to clean our air;

 

8.      We need thee, fusion energy to stop the exponential growth in environmental legislation which costs the middle class of  America, a greater and greater proportion of their disposal income with each passing year;

 

9.     We need thee, fusion energy, to stop the over-burdening of taxation upon the middle class of hard-working American citizens, who must pay for the enforcement of this growth of environmental legislation, out of their disposable incomes;

 

10.    We need thee, fusion energy, to stop the loss of personal individual and civil rights which such an exponential  growth in environmental legislation is causally-related to;

 

11.   We need thee, fusion energy, to stop the spread of radon into the ambient air, water and soil, which necessarily results from the coal-mining process;

 

12.      We need thee, fusion energy, to stop the dioxins, which are produced as a result of combusting fossil fuels;

 

 13.     We need thee, fusion energy, to stop all those new cancer diagnoses of unsuspecting American citizens, many of whom would become untimely cancer fatalities among our great People;

 

14.      We need thee, fusion energy, to stop all the new cases of diagnosed black-lung disease among coal miners and their families; and the causally-related untimely deaths that would result therefrom that coal-mining process;

 

 15.     We need thee, fusion energy, to stop the untimely deaths that would result as a matter of course, among coal- miners and their families and neighbors from in-situ exposure to the mining process off-gases;

 

16.     We need thee, fusion energy, to clean up the ambient atmosphere, clean up our waterways, clean-up our waterway sediment, and clean up our soil;

 

17.      We need thee, fusion energy, to restore the natural temperatures and pH to our great waterways and farming soil;

 

 18.    We need thee, fusion energy to stop the loss of lower species through untimely deaths due to reproductive gland aberrations and anomalies, distemper virus and the loss of suitable food in their natural habitats;
